Charity Auction! First Baptist Church Ashland
Members and friends of First Baptist Church Ashland (FBCA), in Ashland, VA, have generously contributed these items for auction. The proceeds of this auction will benefit the children’s and youth ministries of the church as well as our community ministries. In an effort to love our neighbors, our community ministries include a food pantry serving over 60 families monthly which translates to as many as 200 people. We also provide assistance to 15 refugee families who have been displaced from their homes around the world and resettled in our Ashland community and neighboring counties. We provide language, employment, legal and medical support as well as help with the basic needs of food, clothing, and housing. In the last year, we have launched a non profit entity called Empowering Neighbors which most recently assisted with free income tax return preparation for qualifying individuals.
